Kruel IRC

Chatting to the team online is the best way to find out anything that isnt listed on the website. To join us on IRC:

Clients

Windows (win32)

  • Xchat - SilverX's Binaries ... these builds are 'unoffical' because the Xchat programmer, in all his wisdom *cough* decided to release the win32 binaries as shareware, not as no-cost downloads. Old free offical builds exist if you can find them.


Sysreset Sysreset Script Is a free script for the MIrc client used for File Serving over IRC. Its fairly easy and can allow remote access to shared folders over IRC. Very useful.

Linux

Theres a lot but the two I'd recommend (until we make our own ;)) are:

  • irssi - Text mode IRC client
  • xchat - GTK based graphical IRC client

There's also:

  • Chatzilla - Part of the Mozilla Suite

These can be installed from source, but your chosen distribution probably has them as a package (eg. emerge xchat)
